- How do we choose to respond to the brain?

When we find ourselves addicted to exercise, sport or maybe singing songs or playing the piano, it can be a positive and rewarding experience providing us with pleasure and comfort to enhance the quality of our lives. However, when we respond with nicotine, alcohol, narcotics, junk food or harmful behaviours which seem to provide us with escape from discomfort by creating a temporary illusion of pleasure or relief, we are in trouble. We can quickly lose control of our lives becoming slaves to habits, rituals and routines which ultimately erode our health, fitness and general well-being!
Breaking free of addiction is about changing what we do and how we have been doing it, in the easiest and quickest way. So now and in future, we can comfortably choose to do things differently and create different outcomes. It is not about changing the world for that is far too big a job for anyone and entirely unnecessary. However it helps to choose the easiest ways to change, as what is easy is more doable and what is more doable… is significantly more successful.
There are many ways to break free of addiction including ‘Cold Turkey’, various drugs (addictive of course), detox, rehabilitation programmes, hypnosis and other methods offering various challenges and degrees of success. However laser therapy (LLLT) is now a valuable clinical resource for dealing with addictions.
Laser therapy facilitates the easiest withdrawal from addiction by relieving withdrawal symptoms through the release of endorphins (our feel good chemicals). When we combine the psychological and physical feel good effects of laser with effective detox nutrients and helpful behaviour modification techniques we address both the physical and psychological aspects of the addiction in a ‘Single Treatment’. This holistic (drug free) approach provides the easiest, safest and most effective way to break free and stay free of addiction.>> Make an Enquiry
